The official kick-off was given on Monday June 8, 2026, during a press conference hosted by the Minister of Digital Transition and Technological Innovation, Djibril Ouattara, in the presence of his counterpart for Youth Promotion, Professional Integration and Civic Service, Mamadou Touré, in Abidjan. This mobilization illustrates Abidjan's stated desire to establish itself as a key player in African tech on the international scene.

The selected Ivorian companies cover various strategic sectors, namely digital, fintech, artificial intelligence, health, education, logistics, creative industries and climate solutions. They will have a 130 m² stand, the largest ever obtained by Côte d'Ivoire at this show. “We want to show that Ivorian youth innovate, develop solutions and provide concrete responses to the needs of our country,” declared Minister Djibril Ouattara. He specified that the ambition is to “transform innovation into employment, transform ideas into businesses, transform talents into national champions.”

Scheduled for June 17 to 20 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, VivaTech 2026 expects more than 180,000 visitors and 2,800 exhibitors from around the world. The Ivorian delegation hopes to establish decisive partnerships to accelerate the development of its digital ecosystem.
