Obtaining a bank loan is often an obstacle course for Ivorian industrialists. Faced with such an observation, the National Investment Bank (BNI) intends to react. Organized a few years ago by the Diversification, Industrial Acceleration, Competitiveness and Jobs Program (DAICE), in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Côte d'Ivoire (CCI-CI) and the BNI, a meeting allowed participating companies to better understand the support mechanisms available, the eligible sectors, the conditions of access as well as the stages of constitution and processing of financing files

The system presented is based on three windows adapted to the size of the companies, with amounts of up to 500 million CFA francs depending on the turnover and the nature of the need, operation or investment. Small businesses can thus request up to 25 million FCFA in investment, while mid-sized companies, whose turnover is between 1 and 5 billion FCFA, can claim 500 million FCFA, with rates capped between 7% and 7.5% excluding taxes. Represented by its Director of Operations, ADCI actively contributed to the discussions and the question-and-answer session, relaying the concerns of industrial companies and the conditions likely to facilitate their access to these financing solutions.

This initiative is part of a broader dynamic of bringing together Ivorian SMEs and ETIs and suitable financing opportunities, an essential link in building a more efficient industrial sector that creates jobs.
