Lead by Mude Sevala Naik, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of India, this delegation brought together around twenty companies active in automobiles, solar energy, agriculture and innovative technologies. The discussions focused on strengthening agricultural cooperation through mechanization, capacity building, seed improvement and agro-industrial transformation. The Indian side also detailed the investments already made by its companies in the processing of cashew nuts, rubber and rice in Ivory Coast.

High point of the meeting, the delegation announced its ambition to set up a tractor construction factory on Ivorian soil, an initiative which is part of the dynamic of rural mechanization supported by the National Development Plan (PND) 2026-2030. The Minister welcomed this intention and affirmed that he would do everything possible to facilitate the implementation of this project. This merger takes place in a regional context where similar models already exist, such as a Burkinabe factory assembling Mahindra tractors thanks to an Indian partnership. If the Ivorian project comes to fruition, it could mark an additional step in the diversification of industrial partnerships in Côte d'Ivoire.
