Study Ivorian agriculture, to make it more prolific. This is what emerges from the meeting between the Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Food Production, Bruno Nabagné Koné, and Stanislas Zézé, CEO of Bloomfield Investment Corporation, an Ivorian financial rating agency founded in 2007. The project presented to the Minister provides for two complementary stages. First, the development of a detailed analysis report on the agricultural sector, then the organization of a sectoral round table bringing together public decision-makers and investors. This methodology, already tested by Bloomfield through its annual country risk conferences since 2015, aims to better guide public policies while reassuring national and international capital.
The study will have to answer three central questions, namely what concrete opportunities offer Ivorian agriculture, what profitability investors can expect, and what risks accompany these investments. These constituent elements, according to the usual approach of Bloomfield Intelligence, a map intended to enlighten both public authorities and private operators. Bruno Koné has given his agreement in principle to this initiative, which he considers likely to strengthen the attractiveness of the agricultural sector and encourage the mobilization of new capital. The Minister sees this as a lever to build a more competitive Ivorian agriculture, capable of better capturing the interest of financiers in the face of the growing needs for modernization of the sector.
This collaboration between the Ivorian State and Bloomfield illustrates the stated desire to strengthen the link between economic intelligence and public decisions in the agricultural sector. Remember that Bloomfield Investment Corporation is present in more than twenty African countries. Since January 2025, it has had a specialized subsidiary, Bloomfield Intelligence, dedicated to risk analysis and strategic decision support.
