Agriculture: meeting between the Minister and the National Chamber of Agriculture

The Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Food Production, Bruno Nabagné Koné, received in audience Bamba Sindou, President of the National Chamber of Agriculture of Côte d'Ivoire (CNA-CI). This meeting made it possible to initiate a structured institutional dialogue between the Ministry and the consultative body representing the interests of agricultural stakeholders at the national level. During the discussions, Bamba Sindou presented the strategic missions and the functioning of the Chamber, before exposing the main actions already undertaken in favor of agricultural development. The National Chamber of Agriculture plays a key role in structuring the Ivorian farming world, by ensuring the representation of farmers before public authorities and by facilitating access to technical and financial resources. For his part, the Minister praised the quality of the organization of this institution and reaffirmed his desire to strengthen technical collaboration between the Chamber and the various entities reporting to his ministerial department.
